Post-experimentalism is synaptic acrobatics. By presenting narrative that can be interpreted in multiple facets the author forces the reader to engage with the text to inform meaning. Though there may be several levels to the text, on the surface the text is created to entertain. Typical to post-experimentalism is the blending and disregard for genre rules and archetypes. In essence post-experimentalist believe that what we read should be entertaining, challenging, and aggravating to classicists.
